Department of Legal Studies, University of Madras
The Department of Legal Studies has, since its inception, been a center for excellence for advanced studies in International Law and Constitutional Law. The Department has pioneered the conduct of International Moot Court Competitions such as Philip C.Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, and Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition.
