General Guidelines to Follow

Dedication and persistence are key to achieving good marks in any competitive exam. Candidates should,

  • Prepare and follow a strict timetable during preparatory phase.
  • Be consistent with the preparation strategies and not try out 101 things which may all fail.
  • Attempt to finish the syllabus well in time in order to have ample time left for revisions.
  • Make short notes that help you in retaining more information.
  • Read the newspaper regularly and stay up-to-date in current affairs and events of significance in India and the world.
  • Engage in activities that stimulate the brain like solving puzzles, playing memory games, participating in polls, etc.
  • Dedicate time to Math and Stats; these are important ways that examiners assess your analytical abilities.
  • Solve question papers from previous years.
  • Take as many mock tests as you can to get rid of the anxiety and nervousness.

As Bob Dylan had said,

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind.

Well, while that's a very poetic and philosophical way of looking at things, it may not be the best way to approach an important exam like the DUET law exam. It still remains a difficult entrance exam in law and candidates are often found to lose sleep over it. But you are not the first person to take the exam nor will you be the last. With a lot of hard work, and bit of smart work, rest assured that you will sail through with flying colors.
