About Caitlyn
My name is Caitlyn and ever since I was 5 I have aspired to own a dance school and aspire students to love the sport and art form of dance as much as I do. I have varied in numerous styles, learning at a range of studios with various experienced coaches who work in the industry. I have completed VCE VET Dance, obtaining my Certificate II and III, and considering furthering this qualification. I work with children, coaching multiple teams in basketball and run kids birthday parties/school discos as part-time jobs. I consider myself to be fun, bubbly and light-hearted, being stern enough to achieve specific goals without being strict or mean. I aspire to create a positive environment for dancers and allow them to grow in whatever way they see themselves developing. Lessons change depending on the child's personal goals.

I believe in creating a positive environment for the student in aspiring to achieve personal goals and growing knowledge in the world of dance and choreography. My lessons can vary up to 1 hour, which will include a proper warm-up, technique in a specific style and learning of a routine.
My lessons will be available for previous dancers of any age with already some level of skill in style. Routines taught will be available to use for competition dance or just for fun. If a new dancer, welcome to join but a discussion should be held on the previous skill level.
I have been a dancer for 14 years and aspire to be a dance teacher. I have taught dance for school holiday programs to ages varying from 5-14. I also run school discos and children's birthday parties for a part-time job and have a WWCC as well as a current first aid.
