About Daniel
Started dancing and involving myself in the arts at a very young age. Although I got deep into sports for quite some time, I knew art and dance were shouting at me through my subconscious. Once I made the commitment I joked a crew to perform train with. Afterwards we all split to different work and that led to me to Gotta Dance Atlanta studios. I met one of my greatest mentors who asked me to join his pre-professional company to perform and compete with his other students. I trained in Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop Choreography, Tap, and West African Dance. I was with the company for three years.
Afterwards I started dancing with various Ballet Contemporary companies in Atlanta; GDC which is now AdminX les by Rachel Truitt ,Atlanta Dance Connection led by Allyne Gartrell and Proia Dance Project led by Alex Proia. I learned so much with each company but I knew it was time for me to put this work in a different platform.
After company dancing and performing for three years I saw an audition for a movie role for Honey Rise Up and Dance. I booked a lead role as Bryce that premiered on Netflix April of 2019. Shortly after I booked Step Up High Water that premiered on the newly developed YouTube Red that is now moved to Stars TV. I was a core dancer and Dance Double for the main character Tal. I later was involved in all 3 seasons of the show.
In the meantime of shooting I was also doing various awards shows, live performances, and music videos, battles and commercials around the nation. You’ll be able to see some in my resume. I also booked a tour with Ciara that led me into more work and connections in LA.
I’ve been very committed again to the battle world recently since all the work is freestyle based and expressed through self application. I want to continue to connect those that think they can only freestyle and also those who think they can only do choreography. The full spectrum is way more attainable than it may be announced to be. I am the proof, including many others I work with as well, and any of my students that I have taught have seen it for themselves.
I recently competed in RedBull’s Dance Your Style competition. First competed in ATL and made top 4 that allowed me to go to DC for nationals. Another manifestation of using my styles and knowledge I have attained to use it any way I want.
With all that work it has taught me so much over these past 4-5 years. I am so ready to give back and help others unlock their true potential. I know there’s still so much for me since I am aware of my journey but I know more than anything we can all learn and get it together. Always. All ways.

For those reading this, I teach multiple ways for an artist to be able to use and communicate with their body. I teach many ways of being able to freestyle depending on the student and also applying the skills furthermore through choreography. Every dancer and artist are different with an individual gift that I know you will be able to unlock through my sessions. From all my experience and applications throughout my journey so far, I can only want the best for you because we all know it’s bigger than dance. Enjoy yourself.
