With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, teaching licenses, and certifications in TEFL, TESOL, and ESOL, I bring a solid educational foundation to my music instruction. I've been playing guitar since the age of 8 and have honed my skills over the years. I also taught myself how to play the piano as an adult so I understand how it feels to learn a new instrument as an adult and understand how important modifying lessons are. With nine years of teaching experience in elementary schools, tutoring, and online language instruction, I've developed a dynamic teaching approach that caters to various learning styles. Perfect! I've been working with Taryna for 2 months now and she has been very helpful in my piano journey. I was able to learn bit by bit and practice whenever I can without too much pressure of trying to learn a lot at a time. Taryna is very patient and encouraging for me to keep going, she has also been flexible whenever things come up for me, as someone with a full time job who's also trying to keep up with a side skill. I recommend Taryna to anyone who wants to start small, and learn at their own pace :)

Perfect! Taryna was very patient and kind with my 8 year old. He was nervous to meet his instructor, but so excited to learn. She made the environment comfortable, and by the end of the first meeting he couldn't wait to start taking lessons twice a week with her!

Perfect! Taryna has been tutoring my 9 yr old daughter for about 2 months and is helping my daughter prepare for her school talent show. She is patient and relates very well with my daughter. Taryna is the best online teacher that I have had. Even though I am learning guitar online, she makes the lessons fun and make sure to keep me engaged and always check that I understand everything.
Taryna is an amazing teacher! I've been taking piano and guitar lessons with her for a couple of months and have made so much progress! She makes the lessons fun and is always willing to demonstrate the material to me whenever I need it. I have always wanted to be able to read sheet music in piano and she helped me achieve that goal. In guitar she uses all of my favorite songs in her lessons. I definitely recommend her lessons to anyone who wants to learn and enjoy the process!
Taryna was my in-person guitar teacher for more than a year. She is an incredibly patient and uplifting teacher. She was willing to teach me the songs that I personally enjoy and willing to carefully work with me whenever I struggled with certain chords and finger-pickings. Even after I was no longer able to take her classes due to my schedule becoming too busy, she recommended a video to help me with bar chords. 100% recommend.
My daughter loves taking piano lessons with Taryna! She is always patient and encouraging my daughter to do her best.
