About Bonnie
Born in Harbin, Northern China, I am a native Mandarin speaker and lived in Beijing for over 10 years. I have a Journalism Postgraduate degree from the Communication University of China (CUC) and first class Mandarin speaking certificate. I have been a lecturer in CUC for more than 5 years. I also earned my PhD degree in Communication at QUT and worked at QUT for more than 5 years. I have 2 young children so want to have a more flexible lifestyle. I would like to teach the language with the motivation to understand the Chinese culture. I combine the language teaching with introducing festivals, food, music, and entertaining games. It would be difficult to learn Chinese if you never like any Chinese food! Once you learn Chinese, you will love the variety of Chinese food too! Details
My hourly rate is for 1hr session during school time and 45min session out of school time. The regular payment is monthly with the $20 discount for the term payment. 1 free makeup lesson each term; cancellation fee - $10 within 12hrs before lesson and $20 within 6hrs.
