About David
For 8 years now, I’ve been teaching piano to high school and college students. I’ve taught between 150 and 200 students, and I treat each one as a partner on a music journey. My teaching is focused on support, fun, and steady progress. Whether a student wants to play pop music, classical songs, or just explore piano as a hobby, I guide them at their pace. One of my best memories as a tutor was organizing a small student concert—seeing my students perform in front of friends and family was so rewarding. I believe learning music is more than just notes—it’s about growth, joy, and expression. I’m proud to be part of that process.

I provide constructive criticism in a positive way and support each student’s unique learning journey. Along with piano skills, I teach music theory, rhythm, and sight-reading to give students a strong foundation. This helps students not only play piano but also understand music fully. By combining communication, accountability, and integrity, I create a supportive learning space where students can succeed and enjoy piano.
