About Corin
I’m a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience, as well as an active composer and performer. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, which has given me a strong foundation in both classical training and creative expression. Music has always been a lifelong journey for me, and I bring that same passion into every lesson I teach. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced pianists preparing for performances or exams. I believe in creating a learning space that is both supportive and challenging. My teaching combines technical training with musicality, helping students grow in both skill and confidence. As a performer, I understand the importance of expression, stage presence, and practice discipline. I use these insights to guide students beyond just reading notes, encouraging them to connect emotionally with their music. I also enjoy helping students explore composition and improvisation if they’re interested in creating their own pieces. Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their goals and pace. Whether you're starting your first scales or polishing a concerto, I’m here to support your growth. My goal is to inspire a lasting love for music and a sense of achievement through every note played.

My piano teaching approach focuses on building musical fluency step by step. I guide students in learning how to read sheet music, understand rhythm, and play expressively. For learners with high ambition or strong early talent, I provide structure and challenge to help them reach their full potential. I also support those working toward performance goals by focusing on control, timing, and emotional expression. My lessons are designed to build confidence, musical curiosity, and a deep connection with the piano.
