About Theo
I would love to teach anyone, so that I can share and exercise my love for math, science and teaching! I do truly believe math is something anyone can do with the right teaching, but unfortunately the school teaching system does not emphasize this. I also think it is so interesting when you get to a level where you realize how important math is for almost everything you see around you. I am in Australia for the next 6 months to play cricket and am building an online math teaching school where I teach concepts visually to help with understanding. I have industry experience in quantitative finance and also find the links between math, computer science and economics fascinating.

I like to teach using a visual approach to aid intuition behind mathematical concepts. I aim to give students a genuine understanding as opposed to getting them to just pass their exams.
45 mins - 1.5 hour lessons.
Lessons for ages 7-18.
I have taught in the UK, Cyprus and have written research papers on mathematics pedagogy. I genuinely love maths and science and hope to help students foster a belief that they can be good at it, because you can if you are taught to think in the right way.
