About Gaurav
I'm currently finishing up my undergrad in mathematics and computer science at the University of Toronto.
I completed the IB program at the American School of Valencia in Spain and took HL math, physics, and chemistry. I enjoy learning the theory behind mathematical concepts and then learning about their real-world uses.
Now in university, I have taken various math courses in different fields of mathematics (listed below).

I teach high school students (grades 9-12) and first-year undergraduate university students.
I like to teach math to students by breaking down the concepts and explaining why things work the way they do. I also show real-world applications of the concepts where ever possible, which can aid in understanding and motivate the student to learn. This way students get a deeper understanding of the material, rather than just memorizing formulas.
A typical lesson plan would involve me explaining a concept/topic, and doing a couple of sample problems together with the student. Then the student would attempt a few questions on their own and are welcome to ask for help or clarification at any time.
