About DIANA JASMIN
I am Diana Jasmin Lee. I studied the course of Information technology in AMA computer college. I have been teaching English as a second Language for more than four years in different Academies both online and office-based in the Philippines. I have experienced teaching foreign students from Korea,Japan,China,Vietnam and Taiwan. I teach courses such as IELTS (academic and general), ESL Basic fundamentals (writing and grammar,listening,speaking and reading), Business English and TOEIC. Through the years of working in this field, I have been more interested in cultures,languages and races. Since then, I was eager to fulfill my desire to be the best ESL teacher in the companies I've worked with. I received awards from the team and I've been one of the popular teachers there. I was inspired more to the extent that my students would have a private lesson with me through online. Since I worked in this field, I always do my best to share my knowledge and encourage foreign students to be able work hard in their studies. Hopefully, I would be able to do so in other countries particularly in Canada.

ESL students can and will be successful if teachers provide necessary platform and consistent support.
As a teacher, I should be aware through observation the needs of ESL learners. To start with, learners must be aware of the other cultures because they would be able to communicate with foreigners successfully. Many students feel down or have a negative learning attitudes, empathizing and providing them a comfort zone is a great help for them to be positive and inspired.
When it comes to method, Assessment is very important, I should know the level of my student to provide an appropriate lesson for him/her. Moreover, I do not discourage them to use their native language so that they would be comfortable to express their ideas. I use manipulatives,visuals, games,music and hands-on activities in the classroom to give the student opportunities for talking.
