About Kiera joshua
I am a student originally from London. However, I am currently studying dual qualifying Scots & English Law at the University of Dundee. Prior to becoming a university student, I studied English, French and Sociology for my A-levels. Once having obtained my degree, I intend on becoming a barrister for a number of years and then moving into the world of politics.
I would like to become a tutor, as I feel that I have the knowledge and experience to aid other students, especially as I have completed both my GCSE’s and A-levels. I promise to preserve a professional, yet calm environment for learning, in which I will help students to the best of my ability.

As a tutor, I focus heavily on the various learning styles of my students, I believe that this is most efficient, especially when transferring knowledge. My lessons are an hour long and they entail essay writing, the thorough reading of literary texts and miniature quizzes and tests, as well as answering any questions that students may have. Furthermore, In order to ensure that students grasp the learning, I also set tasks to be completed independently; that they are then tested on in the following lesson. Most importantly, I aim to build strong, personal relationships with students; as I believe that it is pivotal to the success of students.
