CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test, which is conducted by NTA or National Testing Agency every year. The test is conducted for admission to professional training such as MBA and PGDM. The examination is held once every year to ensure admission for MBA and PDGM programmes in India. The total marks for CMAT are 400, which are sub-divided into various categories according to the test structure. Cover CMAT Syllabus: The preparation for CMAT is similar to the MBA entrance exam. CMAT Registration Online and Offline
Generally, the CMAT registration is done through online mode. The application for CMAT 2022 will be released on the official site of NTA, and the candidates will have to fill out the form online. The important documents that are requested from the students include-
- Personal details including contact details.
- Complete academic details (marks, year of passing, name of institute, affiliated board/university, etc.).
- Passport size photo.
Based on the data, the CMAT 2022 exam will be held at multiple centres in around 153 cities of India. Students can choose as per their preference of location. The syllabus for CMAT is prescribed by NTA, and it consists of 4 main subjects - Language Comprehension, Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Logical Reasoning. However, there is a new section introduced by NTA on the proposal of AICTE. Thus, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, which is designed for the MBA aspirants who wish to want to pursue knowledge in this field was added to the list of the syllabus as an optional section.

Language Comprehension
The least time-consuming section is Language Comprehension. It is divided into two categories - Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability. Both together have 25 questions. This section could be easy to solve, all you will need to be consistent with the reading and writing practices.
General Awareness
This could be the most scoring section for you if you have good knowledge in current affairs. The section is a mixed bucket of current affairs as well as general knowledge, so as much you pay attention these sections is better for you. The section consists of 25 questions.
Logical Reasoning
The section comes with 25 MCQs and most of the questions are based on logic. Thus the practise should be based on basic concepts, formulae, etc.
Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
This section consists of 25 questions in the MCQ format and the sections are mainly focused on maths, probability, etc.
Each of these sections come in 100 marks. The total marks for the examination of 500 including the optional section on Innovation & Entrepreneurship. This section is allotted for 30-minutes.
MBA Entrance Exams Preparation
The maximum time that you should take for the preparation of CMAT is 6 months. However, it is depending on the candidate and his speed of learning. To prepare for the exam, you can use the following tips-
