Recipe For Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. 210 g all purpose flour
  2. 1 large egg
  3. 113g of butter
  4. 54g of brown sugar
  5. 99 g of granulated sugar
  6. ½ tsp of baking soda
  7. ½ tsp of salt
  8. 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  9. 170 g of chocolate chips

Optional: Extra chocolate

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cooking Time: Less than 10 minutes
  • Serves 2 people

Cooking Instructions For Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Prepare the baking tray with greaseproof paper or use a little butter to grease the tray directly.
  3. Melt the butter on the stove in a pot or in the microwave, so it is melted but not too hot. You should be able to put your finger in it without being burnt.
  4. Mix the butter and sugars together well.
  5. Stir in the vanilla and the egg until well mixed.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and combine until evenly mixed.
  7. The dough will be sticky and soft to the touch.
  8. Now fold in the chocolate chips.
  9. Using tablespoons or your hands; scoop out 1 (small cookies) to 2 (large cookies) tablespoons of the dough and place on the baking tray.

If you think they need more time, you can turn off the oven and leave them in the heat of the oven to finish cooking but overbaking will give you tough cookies and not crispy soft ones.
