I hold a Master’s degree in Music with a focus on violin performance and have taught privately and in group settings for over 7 years. We'll also cover reading sheet music from the start, ensuring musical literacy develops alongside playing confidence.
As skills progress, we explore scales, arpeggios, and simple etudes to build finger strength, precision, and rhythm. I place strong emphasis on intonation, bowing control, and left-hand agility, helping students improve their sound quality and performance fluency. Every step is designed to connect technical skill with musical awareness.
For advancing players, we introduce expressive phrasing, vibrato, and performance pieces tailored to the student’s goals. We also work on sight-reading, ensemble readiness, and audition preparation when needed. Whether playing classical repertoire, folk tunes, or modern arrangements, lessons offer a balance of structure, creativity, and challenge.
