About Dorine
Hello evryone ! My name is Dorine, I am currently a student at the Paris School of Economics as well as at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in the course of the magisterium of Economics. In 2020/2021, I take the courses of the first year of magistère as well as those of the L3 of Economics of Paris 1. Previously, I studied for two years in license of Economics at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne while preparing for the entrance exam to the economics and management section of the ENS Cachan Normal School within the preparatory class CPGE ENS D2. This double program allowed me to acquire a base of fascinating and detailed knowledge in economics thanks to a macroeconomic and microeconomic approach. This double program also enriched me personally, teaching me the rigor imposed by the heavy workload of the university and the preparatory class but also the pleasure of a well done job. Thanks to academic and personal achievements, I was able to rank 4th in the preparatory class ranking and maintain myself there throughout my two years of CPGE. These two years have been an extremely enriching experience and they made me want to continue to step out of my comfort zone, always looking for new challenges in both my professional and personal life.

The most important quality for a tutor, in my opinion, is adaptability. Each student is different and each learns and understands in their own way. It would therefore be dishonest to support a single method that works for all students. Depending on the student, I will spend more time on the course or the exercises, choosing to check what he has learned by oral recitation or, on the contrary, by writing. For all the students, of course, at the start of each session, I suggest a quick review of what we saw in the previous session. Then, we come to the new section of the course he has received since the previous session. We dwell on the more technical points, on the examples. I try to make reformulations so that he / she understands as well as possible. We then move on to the exercises he / she has to do as well as additional exercises that I have prepared beforehand. It goes without saying that I prepare all my sessions in advance to provide the clearest answer possible to the student. To ensure the best possible follow-up of the students I support, I also report to the parents at the end of each session (by SMS or other) so that we can together best support the student in achieving success.
I try to be the most pedagogue with the students so that we have a good time together and that he / she is reassured to calmly approach the rest of his studies. Access to a good education is an opportunity and we must cherish it.
