Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
My subject is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). My journey into SEO began quite naturally. I've always been curious about how the internet works - particularly, how some websites appear on the top of Google and others remain unnoticed. During my college years, I experimented with blogging and digital marketing, which led me to discover the power of SEO. What started as curiosity turned into a deep passion when I realized how strategic optimization could drive real traffic, business, and growth. Over the past 5+ years, I've helped startups, e-commerce brands, local businesses, and even established companies like Physics Wallah scale their visibility and revenue using SEO.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I believe knowledge grows when shared. Throughout my career, I've come across many professionals and business owners struggling to understand how digital marketing really works. Teaching allows me to simplify complex SEO strategies for learners, empower them with practical skills, and watch them succeed. I'm particularly motivated by students who are eager to create their own blogs, grow freelancing careers, or build businesses - and I want to be a guide on that journey.
How does your work help society?
SEO isn't just about rankings - it's about visibility, opportunity, and impact. Whether it's helping a small business get discovered, enabling a freelancer to land international clients, or boosting traffic for a mental health startup, SEO helps people connect with solutions they need. In teaching SEO, I equip individuals with future-ready digital skills, enabling them to build careers, grow businesses, or become financially independent - and that's a contribution I'm proud of.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model in this field is Neil Patel. He was one of the earliest marketers whose content made SEO feel approachable and actionable. I admire how he made digital marketing transparent and accessible, and that's something I try to emulate in my own teaching - simplifying the complex, with practical outcomes.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside of teaching and SEO, I'm deeply passionate about entrepreneurship and fitness. I love brainstorming creative business ideas, and I'm currently growing my own home decor brand online. I also enjoy hitting the gym, reading business books, and creating engaging content on LinkedIn about SEO and marketing trends.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Absolutely. One of my most memorable experiences was mentoring a student who initially struggled to understand SEO basics. Within six months of hands-on learning, he not only ranked his blog on Google but also landed his first freelance client from the UK. Today, he's running his own agency. Moments like these remind me why I love teaching - because it truly changes lives.
