About Vera
For more than 8 years, I have shared my passion for guitar teaching both online and face-to-face. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with a concentration in Contemporary Styles. This academic training shapes the foundation of my teaching. My lessons highlight compositional techniques, arranging skills, and the joy of writing original music. Students explore harmonic concepts and melodic invention in practical exercises. Counterpoint and arranging add depth to their playing and writing. I also help learners record simple demos so their creativity becomes tangible. I’ve worked with students across every level, from absolute beginners to professionals. Each lesson is adapted to match personal goals. Some want better technique, while others want to compose or perform. I provide both structure and freedom, so progress feels natural. My aim is always to help students discover their voice. Together, we’ll uncover the joy of making and creating music on guitar.

For me, teaching guitar means bridging the gap between theory and practice. Scales and modes are explained as patterns that open doors to melody and improvisation. Chord construction is demystified so learners can build their own harmonies. Harmonic analysis is used to see the structure behind music. Every lesson combines understanding with hands-on playing. Students learn not just the "what," but the "why" and "how." The Aspiring Rock Star gets tools for creating solos and riffs with purpose. The Classical Purist explores harmony with deeper appreciation. My approach adapts to each student’s pace and goals. Improvisation helps reinforce theoretical knowledge. Composition exercises make learning personal and creative. I keep lessons interactive and focused on growth. Theory becomes a practical language that guides musical expression. In the end, students gain both confidence and artistry on the guitar.
