About Alexandra
Hello, my name is Alex. I am a mat Pilates instructor based in East London. I was introduced to Pilates over ten years ago and have been an advocate of the benefits ever since. I am a qualified Level 3 mat Pilates Instructor and am experienced in teaching one-to-one and group Pilates sessions. My commitment to my clients and my interest/expertise in human kinetics translate into well-planned sessions designed to meet the individual needs of participants.

Each session focuses on the development of breathing patterns, postural awareness and core centring. The range of different exercises I teach will help you to build strong, balanced muscles and effective movement patterns you will take with you beyond the class and into all physical aspects of your life. I aim to effectively differentiate all sessions so that participants of varying abilities can progress, develop consistency, refine techniques and work at individual levels of optimal challenge. I believe that everyone has the potential (and owes it to themselves) to move through life feeling fit, strong, energetic and pain-free!

Perfect! Alexandra is a wonderful and greatly enthusiastic teacher! She has made me realize the benefits of pilates and has got me addicted to it! I highly recommend trying out her classes, they're super fun and super relaxing!
Perfect! Alexandra is such a kind and lovely person which really helps when learning Pilates. I absolutely loved her warm up using the resistance bands for upper body strength and posture and then we finished with some core and glutes on the mat. She explains everything very clearly so you understand the feeling of the exercises and if I was a little out of place she would let me know. I felt in good hands with Alex and it is obvious she has a passion for Pilates which helps in the learning process. I would totally recommend Alex to anyone wanting to take up Pilates classes as she is a knowledgeable and supportive teacher.
