About Uma
I am a violin tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance. My teaching emphasises a holistic and therapeutic approach, encouraging emotional expression and musical storytelling. I integrate improvisation, soundscape creation, and journaling to foster personal growth and mindfulness. Lessons are designed to reduce stress, promote self-awareness, and enhance well-being. I work with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students seeking healing through music. Each session provides a safe, supportive space for exploration and creativity.
