About Diego
Hola! I'm Diego. I'm from Santiago, Chile. I lived in the US for two years when I was 9, where I learned English and went back to Chile for a few years and moved to Galway, Ireland when I was 14. I learned French during secondary school and currently I'm learning Italian, as I am in Italy for my Master's degree. With this mix of languages in my head I have developed a great understanding of how we learn new languages, and I can help you in your journey for learning Spanish!

As I offer lessons for JC and LC orals, the lesson will be all in conversational Spanish. The student can bring topics they learned about in class, and I will complement with topics that are often asked about in orals, and in general, topics that will help the student's language proficiency. I will aim at building the student's confidence in speaking Spanish autonomously, so to correct any grammar errors I will wait for the students to finish their answers and thought processes before going back and analyzing any improvements to be made. I have five years' grinds experience in maths, but a near-lifelong experience in language exchange as I have been multilingual since I was a kid. My lessons are 1h long, and the first lesson is free so you can see if you like the lesson methodology.
