About Kyla
I am a dedicated violin tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education specializing in Strings – Violin. My journey in music has allowed me to work closely with students of all ages, guiding them both individually and in group settings. I’ve had the privilege of directing string ensembles, leading group violin classes, and conducting youth orchestras with great success. My background includes teaching in schools, mentoring in community centers, and performing with various chamber groups. I bring a strong focus on section leadership, helping students understand their role within the larger sound. I emphasize ensemble dynamics, listening across the group, and tuning together as a unified team. Team musicianship is at the heart of my teaching.
