I’m from Guangzhou, Guangdong. My parents spoke Mandarin to me since I was a child, but after starting school, my classmates began speaking Cantonese with me, and I naturally picked it up as well. Currently, I’m working in Vancouver, where I’ve been living for the past ten years. I really enjoy the lifestyle and environment here, though I still miss Guangzhou dearly. Rather than being a teacher, I prefer to connect with you as a friend. I’d love to chat about different cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives. Student: 你好！我叫Anna。你呢？(Hello! My name is Anna. And you?) Teacher: 我叫老师。(I’m the teacher.) NO PRESSURE AT ALL and NO NEED TO BE NERVOUS!!! Learning a language supposed to be FUN!
