About Daphne
I am a singing tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specialising in jazz and blues improvisation. I teach scat singing, melodic embellishment, and harmony, helping singers develop their personal style. Lessons focus on ear training, scale theory, and practical application. I emphasise technique, expression, and musical understanding equally. Each session is tailored to the student’s level and goals. I guide singers in building confidence, creativity, and improvisational skills. Performance skills, phrasing, and stylistic authenticity are integral to every lesson. Improvisation is made approachable through structured exercises and guided experimentation. Students learn to connect emotionally and musically with every performance.
