About Tara
I truly love teaching. I have been in this profession for over 20 years in both England and America. It is one of the things in life that can make my soul smile :-) I have spent most of my teaching years with students, ages 11 to 19. I have had a focus on geography, history, citizenship, and religious studies. I also concentrate on English grammar. I have been both Head of Humanities faculty and Head of Year.

I start with finding out about prior knowledge and then introduce new ideas and information. After this we do a variety of tasks from short answer questions and quizzes to long answer questions and practising exam technique. I always prepare lessons thoroughly so that all students have access to the learning experience.
