About Talia
With over 7 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I offer comprehensive violin lessons. I integrate music theory, aural skills, and sight reading into every lesson. My focus includes preparing students for music theory exams and improving advanced harmony knowledge. Scales, intervals, and harmonic understanding are taught through practical bowing and fingering exercises. I work with exam candidates as well as students wishing to improve overall musical fluency. Each lesson combines technical skill development with theoretical insight. Sight reading and ear training are emphasized throughout. Phrasing, articulation, and expression are key elements in my teaching. Lessons are customized to suit individual goals and levels. I focus on connecting practical violin technique with music theory.
