About Jenna
I graduated Magna Cum Laude three years ago from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor’s in Exceptional Student Education. I have five years of experience in the classroom setting with students of varying abilities.
In 2020 when the COVID pandemic began, I started my fourth internship and taught via Zoom. Serving as a blessing in disguise, this experience helped me gain confidence with teaching virtually.
Come fall of 2020, I returned to the classroom and worked as a one-on-one paraprofessional with a student with Down Syndrome for my final internship.
After graduating, I began work as a substitute teacher. After finding a school I enjoyed, I became a full time teacher in a social-emerging Autism unit, and worked with students in grades 2-5.
After the 2023 school year came to a close, I started my own tutoring and children’s yoga business. I currently work one-on-one with students in the home setting and substitute teach on the side.
Currently, I am working to incorporate more online work, as my desire to travel grows.

Hello parents!
I love to work one-on-one with students who have varying abilities, skill levels, and learning needs. I specialize in teaching reading to students ages Pre-K through 5th grade.
My lesson plans utilize the gradual release method of “I do, we do, you do” to ensure that students are able and ready to perform the skill independently before moving on to the next task.
I enjoy using pictures, videos, toys, and games to engage students. I also make sure to tailor lesson materials to their interests.
