  2. DELF Junior for 11 to 17-year-olds (Secondary and Senior Secondary School students)
  3. DELF Tout Public for 18 years and above (Adults)

Depending on the version chosen, the examinee is evaluated on age-appropriate topics, the skills, and the level assessed remaining the same.

Why DELF/DALF?

If you plan to work for MNCs in India or abroad, or pursue higher studies in French-speaking countries, or simply travel to a French-speaking nation, having a DELF/DALF diploma can boost your aspirations manifold!

DELF and DALF Levels

DELF and DALF are composed of 6 independent diplomas that correspond to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The independent nature of the diplomas means that candidates can register for the examination of their choice, according to their level. At each level, 4 skills are evaluated, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

The exam format for each level typically includes:

  2. A2 - DELF A2: Similar to DELF Prim with an increased level of difficulty.
  3. B1 - DELF B1: Includes written and oral expression tasks, understanding of complex texts, and an in-depth assessment of grammar and vocabulary.
  4. B2 - DELF B2: Emphasizes on writing essays, debates, and discussions. It also includes comprehension of written and spoken French at a high level, as well as a mastery of grammar and vocabulary.
