"वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्" (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) - "The world is one family."

Sanskrit, the old language of the Veda, has a very special feature: it is an "inspired" or cognized language, reflecting the intention of Nature through sound.

While many of us believe that language arose from the gurgles and noises generated by our prehistoric ancestors, Sanskrit, the ancient language of the Veda, has a far different perspective. About two-thirds of all languages spoken today, including English, have Sanskrit as a source or influence.

Sanskrit: The Most Pristine Language

The sacred works of Sanskrit literature are typically what first come to mind when we think of this language. This occurs because we are more accustomed to religious ones. Religious texts receive greater attention and commentary. However, many non-religious books in Sanskrit are barely known in a small number of people's circles and are rarely mentioned in public discourses.

Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages spoken today, and Vedic Sanskrit was the primary language spoken for much of the Indian Subcontinent's history. It is not surprising that Sanskrit quotations capture the spirit of classical Indian philosophy and ideas. The Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and the Rigveda, the oldest of the four Vedas, are all written in Sanskrit. Even Buddhist and Jaina scholars, who favored Pali or Prakrut, learned Sanskrit and produced a large number of works in the language.

Sanskrit Language: The Gateway To Wisdom

Sanskrit is the oldest language in the world, according to available data. Sanskrit is the only living language that has maintained its original purity among those with ancient roots like Latin or Greek. It still retains the same terminology and organizational structure as it did in the past.

The Vedas, Puranas, and Ithihasas, which are books about the Indian subcontinent and are among the world's oldest works of literature, are still available today in the same form. Like the great scholars of old, there are many scholars in India today who can interpret them. Such an interpretation is obtained through the constant assimilation of knowledge connecting several disciplines via Sanskrit, rather than by merely reviewing earlier known interpretations.

The oldest and most flawless of all the world's great languages is Sanskrit. It is the greatest treasure that ancient India ever gave to the world. Everyone agrees that Sanskrit is the language with the oldest literature in the entire globe. Modern Northern Indian languages are descended from it, and even the Southern Indian languages are heavily replete with Sanskrit words.

It has been established as one of the ancient branches of the Indo-European family of languages, an elder sister of the ancient classical languages of Europe, Greek, and Latin. All Indian languages and many modern languages extensively rely on Sanskrit loan words to increase their vocabulary in order to keep up with the advancement of civilization.
