University of Liverpool Experienced Tutor Maths teacher at Liverpool - Chand

Chand Singh was employed as a Student Advocate within the Widening Participation and Outreach team at The University of Liverpool throughout the end of the academic year 2014/2015 and throughout the academic year 2015/2016. Chand principally worked on mentoring programmes, providing tutoring in maths and science to GCSE and A Level students. His role as a student advocate completed when he left The University of Liverpool. If Chand were to return to his studies and was interested in picking up the role again, we would be happy to have him work as a student advocate again. As part of his training to become a student advocate, Chand completed a DBS check, and had no criminal record when the certificate was returned. Chand had a good attendance record and completed a fair amount of mentoring work, which the schools involved commented on as being helpful to students in increasing their attainment. He was flexible with the work, and picked up extra mentoring shifts as they became available. He completed all of his mandatory training to a good standard and took part in some additional training to develop himself further within the role. Additionally, in all of our dealings with Chand he was polite and professional.
