To teach pupils as required by the Head and participate in the development of
schemes of work, materials and syllabuses for the subjects taught, attending meetings
on such matters as necessary.
2) To advise and support teachers of Mathematics as necessary.
3) To control and oversee the use and storage of books, stationery and other teaching
materials related to his/her teaching, ensuring that any Health and Safety Regulations
are observed.
4) To carry out the duties of a Form Tutor, to include
Maintenance of discipline and acceptable standards of conduct and
appearance of pupils
b) The establishment of rapport with pupils to develop their social and
academic potential and be a main source of reference for their problems.
c) The marking of tutor group registers, ensuring absences and lateness are
accounted for, taking appropriate action where they are not.
d) The compilation of reports, profiles and references on pupils as required.
e) The Teaching of tutorial lessons, escorting the group to assemblies and
attending tutor meetings called by the Year Heads.
