TADA was founded in 2012 By Tyler Ayres. At the time Ayres was still performing full-time and saw a need for structured, professional quality and safe training for athletes wanting to pursue a career in performing arts and circus. His philosophy is to help people in the safest and purest form with the highest quality of training.
“Industry professionals paving the way”
Upon its creation TADA has teamed up with many professional coaches, performers and companies internationally to help provide the highest quality in excellent training for Hand Balancing, Acrobatics, Flexibility, Dance and Aerial. Keeping with its traditions TADA has worked many years to provide a Hand Balancing Teacher certification course providing coaches and teachers with Certified excellence in Hand balance training. This Program backed by Alixa Flexibility and Acrobatic arts has been ground breaking in creating a safe high standard in training hand stands suitable for all genres of its field.
“Artistry, Technique and fun”
Internationally acclaimed and recognized choreographer and entertainer from Australia, Tyler is an expert in aerial arts, acrobatics, hand balancing, tumbling and hand-to-hand. Tyler was the youngest person ever to be funded by the Australian government ARTS ACT fund and has been working professionally in the entertainment industry since the age of 9. Companies that have benefited from Tyler’s performance and instruction include names from Cirque du Soleil and the Australia Institute of Sport to BLOCH and IADMS. In 2009, Tyler toured Central America with the International Ballet Theatre, raising much needed funds for a foundation for youth diagnosed with HIV.
Tyler furthered his profession and expertise, in the cruise industry, sailing the world as an entertainer and contributor in performance conception. In 2013, Tyler moved to Canada where he was instrumental in the beginning stages of Acrobatic Arts, one of the largest acrobatics curriculums in the world, by constructing a large portion of the hand balancing syllabus. He also drove the design and launch of a new center for high level and aspiring athletes while based in Calgary. Tyler now calls Canberra home and is the Founding Director of TADA, Tyler Ayres Dance and Aerial, which develops and represents top-level performers and publishes a training curriculum for hand balancing, suitable for athletes, aerialists, dancers and acrobats.
