Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I studied M.Sc Chemistry from Andra University, Visakhapatnam. I am in fact very strong in mathematics as a child. I am afraid of chemistry. I try to avoid chemistry during my school days. I had no interest in the subject initially. I remember that day when I tried to solve some questions in class 12th chemistry, and to my surprise, I find it comfortable. From then onwards I put more focus on chemistry and finally I ended up with post-graduation in chemistry. My professors Solomon Sir, T V Subbarao Sir, and Balaiah Sir almost adopted me during my degree days and taught me an excellent view of the subject.

What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I tried so many jobs after completing my post-graduation including the pharma industry and failed everywhere. I came to the teaching because I left with no option. But suddenly I find myself a good teacher and in my first year of teaching itself, my students scored state-level ranks. From there onwards no looking back and I really worked hard for my students.

How does your work help society?
By today I had 27 years of teaching, and almost 2000 students of mine became doctors and doing their service. Around 2000 students who completed their engineering in prestigious institutions including IITs got higher-level jobs. Around 1000 students competed with me as a teacher.

If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My father who taught me basics and all my teachers who thought my success as theirs.

Driving unknown terrain.

When I go to India I find one of my students and I had plenty of surprises in my carrier Nunna Visweswara Rao
