As a chemistry educator with an extensive knowledge in advanced chemical research and pedagogy, I believe education should serve, lead, and empower students as learners and individuals. Chemistry is more than just an academic subject; it provides a lens through which students can view and interact with their surroundings. I use a variety of active learning strategies in my classroom, including inquiry-driven instruction, problem-based learning, and collaborative laboratory work. These strategies enable students to actively participate in their learning rather than simply absorbing knowledge passively. I noticed that students gain confidence and competence when given structured opportunity to apply their knowledge, make mistakes, and refine their ideas in a safe environment. I want to provide a pleasant, engaging, and intellectually stimulating learning environment in the classroom.
