About Joey
Hello, I'm Joey, a 19-year-old dedicated to helping students excel in GCSE and A-Level Maths. Currently, I am perusing my degree in Mathematics at Lancaster University. My strong academic background includes an A* in Maths A-Level, A in Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science A-Levels, and 6 grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
My experience includes assisting in support sessions at Peter Symonds College, where I honed my skills in explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively. Outside academics, I enjoy playing badminton, which helps me stay active and balanced.
As a tutor, I bring a unique combination of understanding, patience, and passion for Maths. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of their learning journey.
