About Ken Tonto McDonald
I have over 30 years international professional performance experience on stage & television in diverse musical styles.
I do freelance work while maintaining a teaching practice with a steady stream of serious students up & coming drummers & professionals. All ages catered for.
Primarily an autodidact I have also studied drum set with world renowned tutors such as John Riley ( Author of The Art of Bop Drumming and faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music NYC) and Paul Wertico (Pat Metheny Group). Percussion with Paul Clarvis (Abbey Road Studio London), and Noel Eccles (principal percussionist with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra) I hold an MMus (hons) with a p g Dip in jazz performance from the DIT Conservatoire of music Dublin.
