About James
I have been a lifelong educator in helping others find their niche and learning style, often outside the box, creative, engaged, entertaining and professional. I receive my joy when I know I've empowered a student and become the wind beneath their wings.
I grew up in a depressed rural area of Pennsylvania where there were limited jobs and opportunities. Fortunately, my father inspired me to become a teacher, and especially to obtain the sort of education that would allow me to implement this into whatever career path I chose.
I've always been a respected and enjoyable educator, I've pioneered many schools to work, parent relationships and have a way of taking the most boring subject matter and turning that lesson into one in which the student really gets it!

In spite of being the son of a teacher, and then becoming a teacher, I was not able to "learn" as well as many of classmates, I struggled with a C average in graduating high school. It was not until my college years that I truly learned how to learn, and I chose a career path that would challenge me. In my classroom and life experiences as a teacher, by having that understanding in being in the shoes of that student that could benefit from tutoring, but would benefit even more through a tutor who can connect with them and help them learn to learn through engaging and finding whatever path, method, technique, environment and so on in becoming a learner.
