I always amend my lessons to my students. I make lessons fun and exciting and always encourage a recording after learning a piece. This enables parents to see the progress their child has made throughout the lessons. I will always help an individual show case their talent and grow in both confidence and skills.
My teaching methods are primarily through experiential learning. I believe that hands on experience allows the most efficient method for learning. Im a typical class, I would go through a specific topic with a student only to have them build on it through craft and observation. Because of this form of experiential learning, nay methodology is primarily suited for students between the age of 4-8.
I focus first on creating a beautiful sound and learning to listen. I am very technically orientated but I promise you will be having fun while you learn!
