I'm a freelance illustrator, ukulele player and face painter offering lessons to children and adults I received a first class hons degree in fine art for design so am able to tutor people preparing for a degree level arts education. I studied many forms of music through out my life but am a self taught ukulele player.
I am an art educator that has experience in teaching all age levels in drawing and painting. Blooms' taxonomy is used, a strong foundation is created and lessons build on each other. I first determine the level at which students are working and build on those skills.
Whether you want to dip your toe in the arts just to give things a go, or you're already on your way and need some guidance, I'm here to help. I'm a very friendly Animation graduate from the UK who would love to spread my love for arts and crafts by helping others.
My teaching method is first, start by explaining and practicing the bases of watercolor: materials (types of paper, paints in tablet or tube, brushes etc) and their techniques (wet on wet, dry on wet, dry on dry) Then we would apply these techniques to a basic drawing and then move on to more complex forms.
My teaching method is to help students put their hearts and souls and emotions into their art. I want to help people find their voice and help draw out their talents, passion and skills in art. I will do so by helping critique my students in a creative manner, help them find what medium works best for them and help them develop their style.
I belive that in order to learn how to draw we have to learn to observe the world that surrounds. Also that anyone can draw and be able to transmite something thought a drawing. This classes will be based on how to analyze the world, train your hand and understand the process of sketching and technical drawing.
I am someone who loves art in all of its forms. I have inclusive experience in performance and fine arts. I have taught clarinet, music and art appreciation, stage design, stage makeup design, costume design, general art, observational drawing, illustration, and graphic design.
I will skype with you, and get you to copy what I do, step by step. I will show you some tools I use, and get you to make notes as you go so you can remind yourself. Happy to chat and answer questions and pose art feedback.
I ask my students to teach me everything they know and then I make an evaluation of where skills need to be improved or learned. With groups I perform the same , but tailor the education to a more specific approach. My students also state what they would like to achieve/learn.
This is not Bob Ross so don't think i'm going to coddle you or do a paint along. I will be looking at your strengths and weaknesses and assigning projects accordingly. first few sessions\classes will be an assessment of your ability later reaching into what you'd like to accomplish as a visual artist.
Each student is different and I tailor my lessons to their individual needs. I am well-versed in a variety of painting and drawing techniques, know what schools are looking for in art portfolios, and have taught students up to GCSE level in English to prepare them for entrance to university.
My lessons are based on theoretical outline with practical application through exercises. It is important to know the basics of the subject that is studied, for this we will start from the study and understanding of the main notions to then move towards a more specific and high level, according to the student's learning needs.
I have a background in a range of subjects. I recieved mainly As for all my GCSEs so can assist easily in these areas and below. I have a good knowledge of History, Maths (GCSE - some AS) and English. My strongest subject area is in the creative field, I come from a very creative background and have an art foundation and a good understanding of how creative subjects are taught in schools.
i base my classes on the exprience i have and also quite teach my students how to visualise and use their observational skills which in turn lead to a change in their thought process and then they begin to think more about abstract and other forms of art which i help them with
direct teaching .refer to the best books data to use open school methods .one on one teaching .book list for the best info available to use for each student .
My classes are very interactive. I make efforts to understand the natural skills set and thinking pattern of each student and direct the course of study for hem accordingly. The end goal largely remains to be able to convey your ideas effectively through sketching, diagramming and painting.
My teaching method is based in building a save space where my students can feel comfortable to truley express themselves I will support my students to discover and explore a range of mediums finding out what feels best for them .
I like to personalise my lessons for each student depending on where they are currently at, whether that be beginner or intermediate, and make goals with where they want to go. Depending on my students wants/needs we will focus on the fundamentals of improving their art, along with a strong focus on how to share their work online by building a portfolio to attract an audience.
My philosophy is that every student no matter skill level learns differently and has different needs and experiences in painting. My lessons are geared for all skills. I can teach in almost every media that a student is interested in but my personal style is abstract fine art. On a deeper level, my work is about art and healing and teaching how to communicate through creativity.
I have a skill in drawing out the best in those I teach by letting the pupil take the lead, finding their strengths, and then working on those in order to grow in capabilities and strengths. Many a time it has been said to me by the pupil "I have no skill. I can't draw/paint/ect." Only for them to produce something they are proud of a short time after.
As art is such a diverse topic I think there is always something to learn at any skill level. Its foolish to equate a successful artist to an experienced one. My methodology is simple and straight forward, and often strange.
I like to teach begging with the basics of drawing, so that you can have a full understanding of it. I always seek to work side by side with whom I teach, and also help with their personal projects, so I can adapt to what you want to learn. While I mostly know how to teach on a basic level, I can also support in more advanced ones.
My methodology is creating a shared learning experience. Let me learn the main areas you'd like to improve and I will curate a personal plan! We will focus on reaching milestones both big and small together. Based on your areas of focus, lessons will be broken down into teaching, student learning, teacher review, and then revisions.
Everytime I think about all of my previous teachers I realise what kind of approach I would like to have with my students and what I should do so that they feel like working with a friend, not a strict, always busy university tutor
My teaching method is very interactive, I show by example and teach about other artists and then supply materials to have a practical approach, I believe the best way to learn something is through own practice.
I am an art teacher and have as methodology the use of technical resources associated with the use of creativity. I have experience in the classroom, private lessons (individual and group). The techniques are the most varied: aquareal, acrylic, pencil of color, dry paltel / oil.
I am from Spain! My English is fluent (I've been living in London for 3 years), don't have a strong accent and I understand 100% of what I hear. I can offer classes in Spanish and I also can speak some Korean! My teaching method is understanding, referencing and practising! Always making students realize where the mistake is so they can learn from it under guidance.
My method of teaching is totally based around what you wish to learn! I will talk through and demonstrate step by step the subject matter you want to draw or paint with easy techniques in the style you choose and teach new skills that can be applied to all artwork!
Depending on what technique you're interested in learning, we will start with the basics, without forgetting to have fun with it. We'll start by assessing your level and we'll go from there, every student is different.
I will base my classes on having fun using expression and learning something. First, we would start off basic to see what level you are at and work from there. I think that it is important to not get bored so it will always be an interesting time.
