I attended High School and University in Italy and graduated with the highest grade in Law.
I have been working for fourteen years as an accountant but teaching is a passion I have never abandoned and I have been giving private lessons for several years in different subjects.
I have now made my professional dream come true by turning my passion for teaching into a part-time occupation.
- How much do you charge?

I preferably teach online but I can also arrange one-to-one lessons.
I am not willing to travel out of Exeter.

I can teach any age and level. I can also teach Business Italian.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can teach on line either using SKYPE or MSN MESSENGER.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Every student has different strengths, weaknesses and expectations - and most of all a unique personality.
That's why my approach is always flexible and personalised.
I do my best to understand my student's needs and to make my lessons enjoyable and interesting.
I start to approach Italian language building together with my student a solid grammar foundation.
Then, I develop his/her knowledge through writing and reading exercises and also listening to music, watching videos, surfing the net and - finally - having a nice chat together.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching many different subjects during my University years. I started to teach Italian as a private tutor about six months ago. At the moment I am teaching part time almost every day, with one-to-one lessons and web lessons.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
- Where and with whom did you train?
I train by myself using the internet as well as traditional books.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- Tell me about some of your current students.
I have students at basic and intermediate levels. They have found my tutoring useful compared to group classes because individual lessons can better meet their needs and improve their personal skills. They found me patient and understanding but hard-working at the same time. Since they are all adult, we arranged together their personal learning-plans and I try to make their lessons enjoyable and interesting.
