Methodology
The doctoral concentration in Teaching and Teacher Education prepares graduate students as scholars for work in practice, research, and policy. Students develop their own research questions and emphases while working collaboratively with other students and faculty. The program is an intensive one in which students engage in practice and scholarship alongside nationally recognized specialists in their field.
Background
The year was 1995....the first day of my role as a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya is still very much fresh and alive in my memory. The date was 1st November.Even though I was appointed as a Primary teacher I was given the responsibility of teaching Sanskrit in Classes VI to VIII due to two reasons. The school did not have a qualified Sanskrit language teacher. Since I've done my graduation with Sanskrit as one of the optional subject the onus of teaching Sanskrit fell on me the very first day.
