Methodology
I don't subscribe to a rigid method of writing, nor do I claim uniqueness of a certain style. What I can vouch for is an ability to listen, to probe and find out the actual content of the unexpressed desire. Listening is key in all of living, and a very objective and patient listener may help bring to word a near-precise representation of what one intended to express. Since flexibility is key to express oneself, multiple ways and styles of output may be explored to see what works best. A back and forth between the student and teacher to create an outcome that both are able to relate to, is what makes the effort worthwhile.
Background
I'm an Engineering graduate with many years of IT and NON IT experience, with a flair for and interest in expressive writing. An important ingredient in expressive writing is, at its simplest, thought clarity- to be able to clearly perceive what one is thinking ('non verbally') and then translate the same in simple, direct language. Great vocabulary are not always necessary-what is most important is to put the non verbal in its verbal avatar.
