About the lesson
Specifics of Teaching Methodology
A dianoetic methodology to propagate the crucial information which is connate to the relevant discipline is employed. Courses demanding catechizing and/or didactic learning are treated as per the coursework with pertinence to the target grade of the student. As Literature demands a wholesome attention of the student, it is prior that the lessons are engrossing and critical simultaneously. The students of English language are treated meticulously because sections such as grammar, linguistics and phonetics postulate sedulousness.
Educational and Research Profile
I have completed my Bachelor of Arts in English from Central University with a aggregate of 77 % for which I was felicitated with a Gold Medal by the Chief Secretary of Science and Technology Board of India, Hon. Shri Thirumalachari Ramaswami in the Fifth Convocation of the Central University of Chhattisgarh.
I have a Master's in English Literature obtained from the very Central University with an aggregate of 82:00 % (distinction).
I also have almost finished my Doctorate in English.
I have qualified UGC-CBSE NET 2018 in English and have also qualified CG-SET 2017.
I am TEFL Certified by The TEFL Professional Development Institute USA, certificate number: (concealed information)PE.
I have a research experience of 4 years and have presented my research papers in 7 national and 4 international Conferences. I have also been awarded the best paper awards in One National and One International Conference.
I have taught English to students of several departments for 2 years as a scholar and for almost 5 years as an Assistant Professor.
I have been teaching English Literature, Technical Communication and Linguistics to students of Arts and Engineering.
I have been a teacher to the students of Higher Secondary classes of State Board for an year and of the students of C.B.S.E. for an year and have received an overwhelming response.
I can help the students preparing for School level, College level or Competitive exams with expectancy of satisfaction on either level.
Specialization and Hobbies
The greatest advantage of studying with me is that I would never leave a student confused and dubious of any concept. As a teacher I find it to be my responsibility and obligation to serve my students with the most elaborate and comprehensive knowledge that a teacher must provide.
My hobbies include reading, playing Poker, Cricket, Basketball, Boxing and singing.
Hopefully I have described myself well enough. Hope to see you working with me and give me a chance to know you as well.

Being a teacher at various levels is a tough job. The most of what I have as experience is that of teaching university freshers, graduates and scholars. However, I have not stepped back from taking classes of tyros or schoolkids and have been able to receive positive feedback. I have been working as a teacher of language and literature collectively for six years now and also have the experience of four years of research which is going to be rewarded to me as my Doctorate. I am looking forward to more online teaching opportunities as I find it enticing to be involved in education and learning with people from various places around the globe.
Perfect! I'm enjoying the classes. Very informative.

Sir taught me in class 11 and 12 of my school. Whole class loved him and he was the best teacher. He talks so nicely and explain everything deeply. Everybody in our class wanted to be like him. We admire him a lot. We miss you sir.
I recommend Vikas to all the students, especially to students who want to study English Literature. Vikas is a master of Literature and understand all the concepts. He is good at explaining very difficult theories in simple words and also has a lot of study material.
Ever since our first class together, Vikas has been really consistent and thorough about my English. He is critical of my ideas and yet motivating. I positively recommend for ll the students who want to improve their English.
Vikas told me that my son had a problem with understanding characters and he could help. I didn't believe him first and went to our family doctor. The doctor called an expert and the expert said the same thing. Vikas has helped Ravi a lot in improving his English. Thanks to Vikas, my son was diagnosed.
Vikas is perfect because he is simple yet great in his approach. His concepts are crystal clear and he likes to keep them that way. We have always acknowledged his simplicity and diligence. He is a good example of a self-made teacher.
Vikas used to teach my child for his B.A in English and the results were really satisfactory. My son was very comfortable with Vikas and never faced any problem. Sir has played a very important role in my son's success.
Vikas is a great teacher. He has always been students' favorite in the university. He is humble and kind and helps his students in all possible ways.
Vikas is a very sincere and dedicated teacher. He listens to all the problems carefully and puts everything into solving them.
Vikas is a fantastic teacher.
Vikas works really hard and gives his 100 percent in whatever he does. As a teacher and as a friend, Vikas caters to the academic and emotional needs of his students. I have known him professionally and personally for several years now and I firmly believe that recommending him as a teacher to someone is not a risk.
If you are leaving your child into the hands of this teacher, your child is in safe hands.
I am weak in English as I do not have any formal education in the past. Vikas is helping me come over my problems. I recommend Vikas as a good teacher.
Vikas has been really patient with my son. My son has difficulty in recognizing alphabets due to dyslexia. Vikas has trained him for three months and he has improved a lot. His confidence is higher now. I feel lucky that we met Vikas.
I have been taking spoken English and professional speaking classes with Vikas for four months now. I am pleased to write that I have experienced great changes in my confidence and vocabulary. I used to feel shy and hesitant before any audience but now I find speaking English so easy. Vikas helped me boost my confidence so well that I am now able to deliver lectures and give presentations. I have asked him to help me with academic writing now and I am very hopeful that with his help I will excel in writing too.
Learning from Vikas is like learning from life itself. He is practical, positive and blooming with ideas. He would simultaneously maintain a standard and difficulty in order to test you just like life tests us in various stages of it. I recommend Vikas as a great teacher.
A fantastic teacher and a great friend. There is nobody like him.
You are a guy with a heart big enough to keep everyone in it. The way you treasure your loved ones is incredible. You're a great example to others. Aur padhaane ke baare mein kya hi boolun - raavan ho bhai raavan, 10 dimaag wale.
I recommend Vikas as a good teacher to the students on Superprof.
Vikas is a man of sheer genius and competence. He caters to the needs of his students with extensive dedication and staunchness. I warrant his excellent in teaching language and literature. I'm sure that someone is getting through something hard right now because he's got their back.
I recommend Vikas as a tutor because he helped me a lot when I had to prepare for my interviews. He provided me with a lot of ideas on how to face an interview. I had very less time for it and he spent hours with me everyday for getting me ready. I feel proud to that he is a friend of mine. God bless you buddy.
Vikas is gifted with a lot of talents along with his skill to teach effectively. I recommend him to all.
Okay, I'll tell you about a little incident that happened to us at the university once. We were preparing for a test which was due in 30 minutes and most of us were unprepared. We usually get our test timetable two days before the test and the time is always scarce. Vikas entered the class all cheered up and smiling like he always is and asked us (a group of 17 people) if what we were reading. We told him that we(including him) had a test in 30 minutes. It was usual to see him not prepared for a test (but somehow he always managed to cling onto the top three positions in the class). He said "oh!" and put his bag down, took out his phone and asked: "So, what do you want to know?". A couple of people were utterly confused about Deconstruction so they told him about it. He went near the blackboard and started explaining Derrida's Deconstruction. We may have asked more than a dozen questions and not even once were dissatisfied with his answers. He completed the basics of the theory within 20 minutes, wiped the board clean and sat down on a bench as cool about the test as he always is. It was the best lecture about Deconstruction I ever had in my life. The question showed up in the question paper as well and all of us wrote well. So, it would be my failure as a companion and a friend to not recommend Vikas as a teacher. He is the best.
I don't suggest that one must just go ahead and believe what I type here. I think that the students should ask Vikas sir to teach them and have an opinion about him by themselves. I am very confident that they would have nothing but praise for this teacher.
The man who I think invests all his energy in outsourcing the best quality education. I recommend him as a great teacher.
You are a great teacher and the students must reach out to you. I recommend all the students to attend at least one class by you. All the best.
I would recommend you for your trustworthiness and sincerity.
I would definitely recommend Vikas as a teacher because of his unshakable commitment towards making his students excel everywhere in life. He has a fascinating personality and an even more fascinating character. He simply loves to teach and help students to be the best at what they want to do. His passion for teaching has been blooming ever since I met him and I see the spark of a teacher in his eyes today as well. This pandemic may have put our activities to rest but with this recommendation request I realized that Vikas didn't halt. Although it is not surprising, he keeps his heart and mind occupied always. I would call him the best man to be called a teacher.
You are great human being above all. I think that's the quality which makes you deserve everything you want in life. I know that you've had your way downhill lately, but I can promise you that the mighty God is watching. He knows about the hardships you've gone through, the austerity you have practiced and he will bless you for it. I proudly recommend you as a teacher to everyone.
There is a lot about Vikas that makes him an excellent teacher. The first and foremost being his fluency in language, second being the density of knowledge that he has, third being his vocabulary which is immense, fourth is his confidence which is very inspiring and motivational. I think Vikas makes a truly excellent teacher. There is just one thing which I have always been telling him to do and that is to slow down his speech. He speaks so fast that sometimes even we can't understand what he said. However, in the class he keeps his pace slow. I would recommend Vikas not only as a teacher but also as a companion and a friend to everyone. Luckily, I have been a teacher to him and it makes me happy to know that Vikas has now become a name in the world of teaching English language and literature.
It has been two years since I first started working with Vikas. He is definitely one of the most interesting teachers. He believes in satisfaction of the students over everything else. I have seldom seen a man so humble and yet so qualified. I would definitely recommend Vikas to the students of English.
I have attended three classes till now. I like sir's methods of teaching. I know my english is not good but sir clears all my doubts. My previous teacher got angry when I asked any question but Sir is very patient. I am learning nicely. I am happy with Vikas Sir.
I like the way Vikash guides me for UGC NET. He is very funny and his memory tricks are amazing. He makes everything seem so easy...
I think my experience with Vikas sir has been absolutely marvelous. He makes the toughest concepts so easy to understand. I would definitely recommend him.
Vikas is a proficient and enthusiastic teacher. The examples he presents are from real life experiences and hence they settle in the brains and bosoms of the students. I recommend Vikas as a teacher for everyone who wants to learn language or literature.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I can say that I didn't choose English but English chose me to become a teacher of it. I was not the brightest student in my class but somehow I had a firm knowledge of programming languages, philosophy and English. As the SSC exam went by I realised that it was time I chose something for myself (perhaps my first and the most difficult choice). I had always had a bad time learning Mathematics which automatically shut the doors for choosing Maths and Commerce as my +2 subjects and Science too involved Physics which would drag me back into calculations. I didn't have much of a choice then, Arts it was. Once into it, I realised I was perhaps meant for it. I ranked in my HSC and was felicitated with a Gold Medal in my graduation, maybe English loved me more than programming and philosophy did (or even more than I loved English) and the graph of progress never went down since then.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
It feels like teaching is something that pacifies me like a saint is pacified after a deliberation on life's greatest secrets. My profession satisfies me. The happiness on the students' faces, the smiles I see when they enjoy the class, the laughter we have when there is a joke cracked in the class seem like gifts of this profession. Who would not want a profession with so many gifts?
How does your work help society?
Engineers build the future, Doctors save lives, Lawyers make justice prevail and Businessmen run the economy, but we teachers help them become what they are.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The reason is simply because he had the blessing of having his last breath used in doing what he loved most: teaching.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I like playing Cricket, Basketball, Boxing and Swimming. I am also fond of Poker and love reading and composing poetry. I have a lot of poems on my Facebook timeline and many more in my notes.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Actually yes! I first realised that I can teach in 11th standard when one of our teachers tried to embarrass me by asking me to explain the Continental Drift Theory. Somehow I explained it so well to my fellow mates that they couldn't resist applauding for me, which struck our teacher dumb. I realised my potential of teaching and also the possibility of it being my future. I think the cosmos works this way, what is best for you comes to you one or the other way. You just need to realize it in time.
