About Chanelle-Lize
I have a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree from Concordia University in Art Education, Visual Arts. I also have ADHD, so I'm painfully familiar with how difficult it can be to start and finish projects when you suffer from executive dysfunction. My most powerful strategy for battling this is making art with others, so if this is something you struggle with, I hope we can work through it together!
While drawing and painting are the mediums in which I am most confident, I love exploring all sorts of artistic media, especially fibre arts, and I love constructing art objects.

First, we start with what YOU want to do. What are your art-making goals? What types of art-making bring you joy? What types of art-making do you dislike, or do you find intimidating? What are you curious about? Using this information, I then build lesson plans that give structure to your path through learning and exploration.
I'm open to working with people of all ages and skill levels (even skill levels that surpass my own!), and I especially enjoy working with people who believe they couldn't possibly ever make "good" art. I like the challenge. :)
